My favorite Atlus game is Digital Devil Saga 1&2 but that’s not even people’s third thought when I say Shin Megami Tensei PS2 era.
Shitposter while I tend to two babies. Maybe when I have my life back, I’ll help us get a few more niche communities back?

I like in the comments someone mentioned that Norm wasn’t meant to be in that spot but someone cancelled so they needed him to fill 5 more minutes after his stand-up. He was out of material and quite literally ad-libbed that joke his driver told him.
You know, use of long dash is the same kind of tell as an image having 6 fingers. Not impossible to find in human interactions but generally very rare, especially in online conversation. (I’m not even sure if my phone can do a long dash, just these fellows: —).
We know this isn’t going to be some MTG watershed moment but imagine how hilarious it’d be if she had a sort of “oh my God everything I’ve ever known is a lie, I have to tell someone!” and every single thing she did from here on was somehow rational and progressive.
Again, not how conservative minds work but it’d still be really fucking funny to me.
You said statistically, and Latino men in that country weren’t in the majority for Trump. But like I said, if you’re really going full statistics, non-voters tend to be the biggest group (just, we don’t exactly have exit polls for them, lol)
I used to contribute to Quora when I was in grad school, since I was actually learning a lot of the stuff people wondered about. Between lack of mods and their monetization schemes though, can’t do that anymore lol
Reminds me why I stopped going to quora. Do they just not have a way to moderate leading questions? Those people obviously know they’re just posting their BS in the form of a question, jeopardy style.
Subbed in any case. Lol
Vote in primaries, find and fundraise better candidates, and so on. It’s not going to do much in the short term, but parties have major platform changes every generation.
I wouldn’t assume that given his county, so try not to make it a leopard eating face / victim blaming story without evidence.
Plus if you’re really thinking statistics, he’s likely a non-voter and in CA one could hardly blame him if that was the case (our general election votes literally do not matter).
I like this analogy and generally avoid using GPS (admittedly it’s out of laziness lol). The most insane part to me is I live where everything is on a grid and somehow people are still impressed I can figure out how to get places, even without having been there. GPS brain is real.
Heard the recording, guy sounds so Chicano it’s so obvious he’s from here. Local NPR station covered it a bit, people know they’re going to get racially profiled and keep their passports on hand, but even that’s not a guarantee.
Sadly it’s not even the first time this has happened. It’s everytime there’s an increased effort by ICE. I think they put it well when they said it’s akin to Stop and Frisk laws in NY that caused a lot of racial profiling.
That was my thought, having followed the social media coverage of recent unrest in Iran over hair covering and so on. Iran does need regime change, but Israel is definitely not the right people to do it. No idea the solution, but I hope people can find a way to stay safe.
Bad news except you can’t trust TV either. Or reading the news, lately. At least regardless of the medium, general advice carries-- double check sources, learn which are credible, etc.
I just hope people are following links and not just reading headlines, right? …Right?
Downey rules. And I’m not just saying that because of Porto’s (but also kinda yeah).
You know what’s fucked? How much we really do need a public utility option for cell phones (and Internet). But this ain’t it, fam. Oof
Sometimes the alt text makes the image even better. I saw one from Shen comics the other day that went above and beyond on that alt text.
A shame, that episode was one of the better ones. What next, Sonic 3 being unavailable because MJ supposedly helped with the music?
I teach a course in disability in education settings and about 10% of learning disabilities are a writing disorder called dysgraphia. You can think of it like a writing version of dyslexia (which is like, 80% of learning disabilities). LLMs are absolutely a reasonable accomodation in this case as well because it can help people who have trouble putting their thoughts into words.
That’s just one example, and generally what I teach is scaffolding – that is, you try not to over rely on tools and use them when needed to improve learning when learning would otherwise not be possible. After all, dyslexic people still need to be able to read on occasion, and dysgrapic people need to be able to write, and so on.
(And do keep on mind I teach and LLMs are a bit of a nightmare in grading so do understand I say this use case still very much not a pro-AI person, lol)
That was my thought, too. I attended a small town parade once in Solvang, CA, mostly by accident and even that had at least two rows of people. Granted, thunderstorms probably contributed but like you said, Macy’s Day parade is often huge and that’s sometimes bone chillingly cold so it’s not a great excuse lol
Tu stultus es back to you, my craven countrymen.
Tu stylus es! Omnes stulti estis!
